Subscription status and purchase information handled through Google Play Billing.
Crash, diagnostic, and performance information if enabled through Firebase or Google Play services.

How We Use Information

We use information to:

Create and manage your RunMentorAI account.
Store your running history and training profile.
Generate personalized AI coaching, training plans, and run insights.
Estimate weather conditions for runs based on date, time, and location.
Improve app reliability, safety, and performance.
Verify subscription access through Google Play Billing.
Respond to support, privacy, or account-related requests.

AI Processing

RunMentorAI uses Google Gemini through Firebase Cloud Functions to generate coaching suggestions, training plans, and run insights. Information relevant to your coaching request, such as profile details, goals, recent runs, and training history, may be sent to Gemini to produce a response.

RunMentorAI does not use AI responses as medical advice. AI-generated coaching should be treated as informational training guidance only.

Third-Party Services

RunMentorAI may use the following services:

Firebase Authentication for sign-in and account management.
Cloud Firestore or other Firebase services for app data storage.
Firebase Cloud Functions for server-side processing.
Google Gemini API for AI-generated coaching and insights.
Google Play Billing for subscription management.
Open-Meteo for weather estimates.
Firebase Crashlytics or similar tools for crash reporting if enabled.

Subscriptions and Payments

Subscription purchases are processed by Google Play Billing. RunMentorAI does not collect or store your credit card number or full payment details.

Data Storage and Security

RunMentorAI uses reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. Information may be shared with service providers only as needed to operate the app, provide AI features, process subscriptions, store data, analyze crashes, or comply with legal obligations.

Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as needed to provide the app, maintain your account, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your account or data by contacting us.

Health and Safety

RunMentorAI provides AI-generated training suggestions for informational purposes only. It is not medical advice and is not a substitute for guidance from your physician or another qualified healthcare professional. Running and exercise involve risk of injury or health complications. Talk to your doctor before starting or changing a training plan, especially if you have any medical condition, injury, symptoms, or concerns.
